Dr. Philip Kotler

The Father of Modern Marketing

Dr. Philip Kotler is the S.C. Johnson Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

He received his M.A. degree in economics from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. degree in economics from M.I.T. He did postdoctoral work in mathematics at Harvard University and in behavioral science at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Kotler is the author of Marketing Management, now in its 16th edition and the most widely used marketing textbook in graduate business schools worldwide. He has authored over 60 other successful books and has published more than 150 articles in leading journals.
