Biography

Dr. Philip Kotler is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He received his M.A. in economics from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. in economics from MIT, and did postdoctoral work in mathematics at Harvard University and in behavioural science at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Kotler is the author of Marketing Management, now in its 16th edition and the most widely used marketing textbook in graduate business schools worldwide. He has authored more than 80 books that have shaped marketing education worldwide, and published more than 150 articles in leading journals.
